Kim is our Office Manager/Client Services Manager, and her many years of personal experience with her older relatives, has taught her patience and the ability to relate to the older generation. Kim has a knack for turning a stressful phone call into a pleasant meeting plan. Prior to joining The Coulson Law Group, Kim has had two years of experience as a legal secretary, and eights years in human resources working as an HR Coordinator for a local oil company and an HR Associate working with an attorney for a professional employer organization. In addition to managing the daily office functions, she handles the 15-minute initial phone consultations for prospective clients, assists our associate attorney with the Medicaid application process and works with clients towards the completion of their planning measures. Kim’s primary goal is to provide quality service to you through what could be the most overwhelming and challenging time for a family.

Kim is a native of St. Louis . She spent four years in Scottsdale , Arizona enjoying sunny days, the beautiful desert landscape, great food and friends. She will argue that most things are better in Arizona . She returned to St. Louis in order to be near her elderly parents, to whom she is very close.

Steve Held

Steve Held has assumed the position of Education and Outreach Manager.  Steve comes to us from the SIUE School of Nursing where he served as the Director of Enrollment Management.  His  17 years of higher education experience included time at Saint Louis University where he worked with the Nursing school and the School of Medicine.  Steve is an SIUE alumnus and lives in Edwardsville with his wife, who is a Developmental Therapist, and two school-aged children.  Steve will visit facilities, make contact with key individuals, and plan and execute educational programming.  If you would like to arrange a presentation, workshop, or seminar you can reach Steve via email at steve@coulsonlawgroup.com  or by calling either of our offices.

Cindy Ruecker

Cindy, our legal assistant/paralegal, is another new addition to our family.  She spends her days at our Edwardsville office.  Cindy has prior experience in the legal field, having worked at Hickson, Kipnis & Barnes, LLP, in San Diego, California where she prepared and notarized estate plans for many clients.

Cindy grew up in West Covina, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.  She has lived in Texas and Washington state as well, moving along with her husband, a chemical engineer.  She has been married for 24 years and has a son a two daughters who, all of whom are college students.  Cindy’s email address is cindy@coulsonlawgroup.com.
